Nearing the Finish Line!!

As the first semester end fast approaches Intramurals is beginning to wrap up. Looking back at the calendar for the past two months... I am amazed we got as many intramurals in that we did..

THE PANTHERS REMAIN OUT IN FRONT!!!

Well its finally over. Between girls being away for Basketball , boys on trips for volleyball and the H1N1, we have finally finished Cribbage.

The  Panthers remain out in front by gathering up 2500 points in Cribbage. Their best finish was Mrs. MacDonald who challenge her opponent to the very end by coming up short in the pegging department

Sol Henderson had a good showing along with Blair Hagan, Sam Good and Caray Ford.

Way to go Panthers!!!

The Kings managed to keep pace with the Panthers with 2440 points.  They had 2 top finishers in Sr. Girls and Sr. Boys, with Jenna Thompson and Alex McKee winning their divisions.  Spencer McLeod came in 2nd and Mrs. Orr took a 3rd. place finish .  Keep climbing!!!

Jamie Orlando and Benoit Lefebvre took the top Intermediate Division for the girls and boys.  The Knights came out with 1890 points to wrap up third place.  Meagan Headricks also had a 3rd finish to help out her house.  Hang in there , you are not far behind.

The Aces finished strong in Cribbage.  They had Kristen Taylor challenging Jamie Orlando , Matt Jones challenging Alex McKee for first . Their other top finishers were Mr. Frolick and Zack Junor.  They accumulated 1505 points overall.   If you play your cards right  Aces will be right back in the running.

Another Intramural Update!!

HOUSE UPDATES:
 
After badminton the Courtyard Leader Board has been updated.
 
Knights finished badminton strong with 2710 points with Jaime Orlando winning Int. girls and beat out Karrisa Barbarie for the championship.
Josh MacFarlane battled Steve Lajambe to win the Sr. Boys .Mr. Wooton challenged in the semi finals.
 
Panthers added 2475 point to their totals to pull out front on the leader board. Their strongest finisher was Ian Frazier , taking the second place finish in Int. boys. Panthers were well represented in the finals with Eric Kern and Shaylene Kern, Rachel King, and Arla Biron all making the semi finals.
 
Kings had a strong finish and added 2230 points with Mrs. Willoughby challenging Lexie Lajambe for the Sr. Girls title. The tilt ended in Mrs. Willoughby's favor. Taryn Goulding held her own to make it to the semi finals along with Kurt Barbarie challenging the Sr. boys and Nathan Holditch in the Int. boys.
 
Aces were not too far behind with 1740 points. The Int. Boys championship went to Austin Adams , a very strong competitor.
 
The Panthers have now taken a lead with 11, 704 pts.
Kings are in second with                   10,584 pts.
Followed by Knights                 10,428 pts.
And Aces with                       8,451
