Korah Invitational Photos

This past weekend, the CASS wrestling team competed in the Korah invitational wrestling classic.  Check out the photos on the right of the page.  Details to follow.

Wreadin', writin', and wrasslin'

CASS had a great day today with 17 students competing at the Korah Invitational wrestling tournament.  Everyone had a great day and put in courageous efforts and wrestled with the brakes off (as Mr. Fryia would say).  The most impressive thing about the day was that even though everyone wrestled their hearts out and were proud of themselves, they're fired up more than ever to improve.  Personally, I think they've gotten a taste of how good they can be....and they want more.  Gold medal performances were put in by Zack Reid, Eliza Scheuermann, Nichole Kinzel,  Emma Horner, Spencer McLeod, and Matti Kirkiniemi.  Trevor Linley brought home the silver, while George Wabigwan and Logan McKinnon each captured a bronze.  Congratulations team!  I can't wait to see who gets fired up for practice on Monday!

Wrestling Try-Outs

Another great workout today in the greenhouse!  What a great group of new wrestlers.  Keep up the hard work.  Wrestling practices for next week will be Mon, Tues, Wed, Thur.  New wrestlers still welcome.

Wrestling Try-Outs

This Tuesday was our  first wrestling practice of the year and the new recruits looked promising.  Our next try out will be this Thursday.  I hope you guys will be able to keep up.
