Schedule Changes to Hockey

Our January 15th home game vs the Dunn has been changed to Monday, January 11th at 4:20 pm.

 We now play the Dunn on the 15th of January at the John Rhodes at 5:00 pm. This is a makeup game for the cancelled December 9th game.

 St. Mary's is coming here for their Desbarats visit on February 3rd. Game time is 1:30 pm and this is a "buy your way out" game. This is for the cancelled November 20th game.

CASS Hockey Re-scheduled

A makeup game with White Pines has been scheduled for December the 10th at 3:30 pm at the Rhodes arena.  This game does not appear on the schedule and is from the game that was canceled Oct. 30th.

Dance Squad 09

This season 50 CASS students came out for the dance squad! Since tryouts the 20 hardworking students who made the squad have been busy preparing for this season’s performances.

February 28th- Dancing with The Soo Stars @ the Kiwanis Center (7pm)

 

 

The students will also be participants at The Pulse Dance Workshop in Toronto in May.  Proceeds from the fashion show will go towards the cost of this trip.

Buy Your Way Out of Class!

Buy your way out of class for this Thursday's hockey game at the Desbarats dome.  You can buy your tickets until Wednesday in the courtyard from the members of the hockey team for $3 + $1 for the bus.  THE ABSOLUTE LAST CHANCE TO BUY A TICKET WILL BE WEDNESDAY AT 2:00pm!!!!!!!!!  Do not delay!!!!

Basketball Semi Finals

Tomorrow, the junior and senior girls' basketball teams will be hosting the NSSSA league semi finals at home.  The junior game will start at noon and the senior game will begin at 1:30 pm.  Come on out and cheer on your Huskies!

NOSSA X-Country

This Thursday, the cross country team will be traveling to North Bay for the NOSSA cross country meet.  Rumor has it that Mr. Wilson booked a better hotel than Mr. Reid did on his North Bay trip.....anyway, 20 athletes will representing CASS under the leadership of Mr. Wilson, Mr. Brown, and Mrs. Gooderham.  Good luck team!

 

Basketball Try-outs

This Wednesday, Mr. Reid will be starting the senior boys basketball try-outs here at CASS.  Try-outs will be held from  5:30 - 7:00 in the gym......if you're there at 5:20.....you're late.  

Nothing in life worth having is easy to get.

Come cheer on the CASS Hockey team this Sunday at 5:30 vs. St. Basil's at the Essar Centre.  $4 at the door, $3 with a ticket.  See a member of the hockey team for a ticket.
