Olympic Torch For All to See!
The torch used in the Olympic Torch Relay last Jan.1 by SAA members has been mounted in the courtyard along with a commemorative photo. The torch was recently signed by Olympians Clara Hughes (speedskating) and Brigitte Acton (alpine skier from the Sault). A very special thank you to staff member and shop teacher Mr. Corcoran for designing and building the torch mounting bracket, and to Laird Signs for their photo design and rendering.

SAA Chosen as Olympic Torchbearers
The CASS SAA group, founded by Mr. McKenzie and led by Mrs. Hunt-Ford has been chosen as one of 16 high school groups from across the country to participate in the Olympic torch relay. Their leg of the relay will take place in Sudbury this January. This is an incredible honor for our SAA and all of its members. Congratulations on being a part of Olympic and CASS athletics history!
