Caray and I went skiing today on our day off and got to see some of the women's downhill. We rode the Peak-to-Peak gondola with the glass bottom viewing floor-very cool! I even met a fellow Torch Bearer n the slopes. Scott Russell from CBC was interviewing 2 of the Canadian downhill skiiers from today's race in Whistler Village right by the place we were returning our rental skiis, so we may get on TV somehow today. We were wearing our Canada gear and so were a lot of other people and even the . Olympic fever is rampant! This morning Bare Naked Ladies was warming up in the Village Square and is playing tonight at 5:40pm. Then OUr Lady Peace is playing at the Medals Ceremonies tonight! We even discovered this chocolate Inukshuk by the Swiss House-what a place! Whistler Rocks!
