SAA Torch Bearers Take the Torch on the Road!

SAA Torch Bearers Lindsay Gilbertson and Caray Ford helped spread the Olympic Spirit at St. Joseph Island Central School on Tues. Jan.26.  Both girls are St. Joe grads, and visited all 6 classes there.  They shared facts about the Torch, the Torch Relay, some photos from their run in Sudbury, and facilitated some interactive games.  Mrs. Keenan's Gr. 4/5 class enjoyed a Torch Relay Fitness Monopoly game in the gym and Mr. Goulay 's Kindergarten class played a Red Mitten memory game.  All classes got to be Team Torch Bearers and hold the Torch while their classmates cheered them on.  The photo on the left is Mr. Goulay with the Torch, Mrs. McHale (EA), Lindsay and Caray and the JK/SK class.  Watch for the Torch coming to your elementary school soon!
