A strong defense and key rebounds helped to keep the Huskies
alive in the North Shore NSSA tournament on Tuesday.
Adrienne Hagan and Blair Hagan were key rebounders and stormed the
boards keeping Blind River at bay. Danielle Heubner and Sam
Haldenby shut down W.C. Eaket's key player and helped turn the
tide. Karissa Barbarie scored a game high 8 points, followed by
Danielle Huebner with 7, Sam knocked in
2, and Blair with 1. Julianna Kent pulled down a pair
of rebounds and Jamie Orlando came through with some decisive
turnovers. The girls play Manitoulin at CASS on Thursday.
Come out during your lunch to cheer on the Huskies.
