Over the weekend, Mr. Gowlett and Nichole Kinzel competed at Catalyst Fitness in the Sault in the first ever "Franfest". Fran is a crossfit workout that has gained notoriety in the fitness world as one of the most difficult benchmarks of fitness. CASS' Fran team of Nichole and Mr. Gowlett transferred through three rounds of the infamous workout to post the fastest time in the finals and were crowned the first ever Franfest champs.
