While you may have been watching Sydney Crosby carry the Olympic Torch yesterday in Nova Scotia as it begins to make its way west, members of the CASS SAA Torch Relay team started receiving their official Torch Bearer Uniforms. EXcitement is rising at CASS with the team set to run Jan. 2 at 11:30am in Sudbury. The team will be running the first kilometre from the Celebration Stage out to Paris St. Shown below is an excited Caray Ford, one of the CASS SAA Team Torch Bearers, wearing her uniform. The "Glowing Heart" mittens have special rubberized maple leafs on the palms to help grip the torch.
